The Nanosystems Engineering Technology program is the only program of its kind in Canada. In it, you will be exposed to face-to-face, hands-on learning in our labs including in our specialized cleanroom facility.

Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, renewable energy, battery technology, and advanced medical treatments and diagnostics are reshaping the future—and they all depend on nanotechnology. In this program, you'll master the operation of cutting-edge systems and equipment used by nanotech researchers and manufacturers, including the scanning electron microscope (SEM) for capturing images of objects at the nanometre scale.

Nanosystems opens the door to a world of high-tech and unconventional career paths across various industries to solve complex problems that shape the future every day.

Median Starting Salary

The expected starting salary for individuals with a(n) Surveying and Geospatial Engineering Technology Diploma is $52,000.
This salary information was based on graduate data from the past 3 years and reflects annual salaries for graduates who claimed they were working more than 30 hours per week. Graduates who quoted salaries below $10,000 and above $200,000 per year have been excluded.
