Course Overview

Work towards apprenticeship and explore the heavy equipment industry. Discover shop safety, hand tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tool use, basic preventive maintenance, basic electrical servicing, and off- and on-road equipment. Accomplish fundamental maintenance duties on heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, excavators, and highway trucks.

Once you successfully complete this course, you will receive a certificate of achievement and be more prepared for an entry-level position in the heavy equipment industry.
