Immigration Information

• International students are eligible to apply for a study permit for this program  

• This is a non-credit program. Currently, these programs do not meet the requirements for the post-graduation work permit. We are waiting for an update from the provincial government, so please connect with us if you have questions: continuingeducation@nait.ca

• PGWP Eligibility: This program does not meet eligibility criteria for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), following Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) field of study requirement effective November 1, 2024. Students who applied for a study permit before Nov. 1, 2024, are not affected by the new field of study rule and may be eligible for a PGWP.

• While graduates are currently ineligible to apply for a PGWP, NAIT still welcomes international students to this program to grain valuable knowledge and skills to pursue your career goals, whether in Canada under another type of permit or in your home country or other international markets.

• International graduates of this program are currently not eligible for one of Canada’s permanent residency pathways, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). 

This program is not considered a Post-Graduate or Masters-level program.

In this program, we bring together the art of leadership and the best practices from project management to provide you with the skills necessary to kickstart or to move up on your career.  

Among the wide range of skills and knowledge you will gain, you can expect to learn:

Certification 

NAIT is a Project Management Institute (PMI) approved Authorized Training Partner. 

Take the following steps to achieve your Project Management Professional (PMP) certification:

Our Leadership and Project Management program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in your project management career. 

Tuition and Fees

Tuition Fee   

$18,000 CAD   

• Term 1: $9,000CAD   

• Term 2: $9,000CAD   

Tuition Fee Deadlines   

• Term 1: Within 30 days of being accepted into the program    

• All following terms are due 30 days before each term   

General Tuition Policies   

As you navigate your program, it’s important to be aware of the following policies:    

• A payment will be applied against any outstanding balance from a previous term before being applied to current or future tuition and term fees.   

• Students are responsible for all fees charged to your student account. If you add or drop courses after you have paid your fees, your account balance may change.   

• Ensure any outstanding balance is paid by the deadline to avoid complications  

• You must meet payment deadlines even if you have applied for student loans, scholarships, bursaries, or sponsorship.   

• Deadlines are strictly enforced.    

• Late enrolments will require quick payments, sometimes within 24 hours, and must be paid for before classes start.

NAIT accepts uses PayMyTuition for all payments.   

Additional Optional Fees   

These fees are not mandatory, and students can decide if they want these services or not.   

• ETS TRANSIT PASS: $100/month   
  • Transit passes can be purchased online here 
  • Discounted tickets available for students! 
• Recreation Fees: $132.88/term

  • This can be purchased at NAIT’s one AT NAIT Card office or at the main desk of the Fitness Centre.
