Ordering NAIT Transcripts
Do you need to request a transcript for another Alberta post-secondary?
When you apply to another Alberta post-secondary institution through ApplyAlberta, the new institution will request your official transcripts from NAIT on your behalf, free of charge. Please allow for sufficient time for this process to take place. If you have questions about the status of your transcript delivery, please first contact the new institution to verify they have submitted a request.
Get your official transcripts through MyCreds™
Official transcripts are a complete record of a student’s academic progress, including courses taken, transfer credit awarded, and certifications granted. Official transcripts are directly from the Office of the Registrar.
For most NAIT students, official transcripts are issued and accessed through MyCreds™, a secure digital transcript sharing platform. Not only does MyCreds™ provide you with fast and easy access to your certified and official electronic transcript, but you can also share your transcripts securely with educational institutions, employers, government offices and others.
After requesting your transcript on your MyNAIT portal, your transcript will be uploaded directly to MyCreds™ within 1-2 business days. Through MyCreds™ you will be able to purchase non-refundable share credits ($16 plus tax per share) to share your transcripts with organizations quickly and securely. Please note that in order to initially view your transcript, you will need to have at least one share credit on your account. This credit will stay with your document until you share it.
How to request your digital transcript
Order your official transcript(s) online through your MyNAIT portal account:
- Log in to MyNAIT portal (if you forgot your login information, please reset your password)
- Select Open Self Service, go to Academic Records
- Choose Request Official Transcript

When your transcript is ready, you will receive an email confirmation from MyCreds™ to access your document. The confirmation will be sent to the primary email address included on your MyNAIT profile. Use the link in the email to register and create your MyCreds™ account.
Share credits
From your MyCreds™ account, you will need to purchase one or more share credit in order to initially view your official transcript. MyCreds™ FAQ
Processing time
Before ordering a transcript, please review your unofficial transcript in your MyNAIT portal to ensure the transcript information is correct (as this is the same information that will be on your official transcript).
You can order a transcript at any time and select whether you want the transcript immediately, or if you want the transcript to be printed after final grades are posted or credential comments have been added. Transcripts with final marks, before credentials are issued, are typically available within a week following the end of term.
Please note that financial holds must be cleared from your account before the Office of the Registrar will issue an official transcript. Check financial holds on the MyNAIT portal.
