Tailings Bookclub

Tailings Book Club, delivered by Dr. Heather Kaminsky, NSERC Industrial Research Chair for Oil Sands Tailings Management,  is a FREE monthly webinar which reviews the annual Tailings Management Reports that oil sands producers submit to the Alberta Energy Regulator.

  • Four webinars dedicated to tailings-centric topics:
    • Water quality, consolidation, geotechnical/biogeochemical tailings challenges and innovations (January-April)
  • The first hour is dedicated to the presentation, and the last 30 minutes will be time for networking where the host will enable attendees to turn on cameras and microphones.
