In the welding industry, it is important to have a familiarity with codes and the different metals a welder will be working with, as well as the science involved. In addition to this, students will examine key concepts and principles related to the different codes, together with metallurgy and testing involved in welding. Students will also learn about various different metals and alloys and their weldability.
