Medical Radiologic Technologists (MRTs) use their knowledge of medical imaging equipment, procedures, and best practices to deliver quality outcomes for Computed Tomography (CT) patients. MRT students will learn to apply patient preparation and management techniques in CT settings. Students will perform CT procedures and evaluate imaging of the extremities, abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, neck, cranium, brain, facial bones, and sinuses. Further exploration of interventional CT, specialized imaging, and research on emerging technology will be a focus of this course.
