Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) are required to operate various imaging systems, beyond standard radiographic equipment. Students learn the principles of operation and quality control testing of fluoroscopic systems, Computed Tomography (CT) systems, and mammographic systems in relation to clinical practice. Students will learn about other imaging and therapeutic modalities. In the lab environment, students will operate mobile, CT, and Fluoroscopic machines; they will also practice advanced applications of radiographic physics.
