Medical Radiologic Technologists (MRTs) use their expert knowledge of medical imaging to acquire quality images in diverse circumstances. Students learn to use critical thinking to adapt imaging procedures in response to patient conditions, the clinical environment, and findings on the image. Students will learn about their role on a healthcare team. In the laboratory setting, students will practice adaptive concepts applied to radiographic procedures, learn to evaluate the quality of radiographic images, and determine corrective action.
