A Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) student's foundational knowledge in radiographic and cross-sectional anatomy is essential to building expertise in the optimization of CT imaging and procedure management. MRT students will differentiate anatomical structures of the extremities, abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, neck, and head. Students examine and identify skeletal structures, and soft tissues with and without contrast enhancement from CT, MRI and general radiology images.
