Millions of people from a multitude of different cultures around the world lack access to clean, affordable energy. Executing clean energy projects in diverse communities requires intercultural competency and communication skills along with cultural awareness and sensitivity. In this course, students build intercultural competencies through working on a clean energy or sustainability-related project involving people of a different culture. Students set intercultural competency goals, explore aspects of the community culture, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
