Where multiple energy needs (heating, cooling, electricity) must be simultaneously serviced, the use of singular technologies for each load is not as effective as deploying a carefully balanced hybrid system. In this course students will create hybrid energy solutions that are cost-optimized and capable of simultaneously meeting multiple energy loads for residential, commercial, community, or industrial customers. Students will also learn about control strategies for operating hybridized energy systems.
