Credit programs that accept international applicants also meet the eligibility for the Post-Graduation Work Permit program, including programs with a Hybrid delivery mode. Each student is responsible for maintaining their eligibility throughout their studies.

Hands-on, industry-relevant skills

In your first year of the program, you will take 10 foundational courses that set you up with core business knowledge. In your second year of studies, you will take the required courses to get a specialized diploma in management.

This program develops you as a leader, whether in organizational management positions or key advisor roles. We will help you develop an understanding of modern business dynamics and organizational culture. We teach management skills including accounting, finance and marketing knowledge to foster decision-making in a competitive environment. Upon graduation, you will have the skills and knowledge required for entry to mid-level positions, which will open doors to senior-level management. 

Hands-on learning

We immerse students in a combination of classroom teaching, industry-relevant case work, simulations and networking. You will develop an understanding of modern business dynamics and learn to work well within culturally diverse organizations.

Classroom & study hours

On average, you can expect to spend:

  • 20 hours per week attending classes over the course of each semester
  • An additional 20-30 hours per week studying, completing assignments, doing research, reading, etc.

Diploma Specialization

Developing a strategy to outperform competitors is a fundamental skill in the strategic management process. Advanced Strategic Management expands the theoretical base established in the Strategic Management course, to examine phases two and three of the strategic management process –strategy formulation and strategy implementation. In the strategy formulation segment, students examine the distinction between business and corporate level strategy requirements and ensure the chosen strategy meets society’s ethical, social, and environmental sustainability expectations. Provisional admission - English language proficiency. Applicants who have not yet met the English Language Proficiency requirement may be eligible for provisional admission, allowing them to complete NAIT ESL Level 6 courses simultaneously in the first 12 months of starting their Business Administration diploma. To be considered for provisional admission, you must submit all required documents by the following deadlines:

  • July 31st – Fall admission
  • November 20 – Winter admission
  • March 31 – Spring admission
