Quality Management

Quality is a frequently misinterpreted concept where some people believe quality management is avoiding doing activities which dissatisfy customers or is a specific practice used for manufacturing. Quality management is a vital part of operations in many business sectors, industrial operations and government. Given the nature of today's global economy and international competition, product and service quality are critical to the success of any business or organization.

This program is designed for people who are currently working or wish to work in quality assurance (QA) / quality control (QC) / quality management department. You are introduced to the essential elements of quality management systems including steps in creating a quality policy manual and developing related objectives and procedures. You will also learn how to conduct internal quality auditing. You will get a practical overview of the general principles that create a framework for a quality management system.

Signing up through NAIT, enrolling online, and course set up was great; any questions or concerns were all handled in a timely and positive manner. This course exceeded my expectations and had a lot of valuable input through experience from both students and instructor.

I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in quality management.

Radhika Chakraberty, Laboratory Analyst, Labs-Mart Inc. Canada

My interest in pursuing a career in Quality Control or Quality Assurance was the reason behind taking the QMGT certification at NAIT. I was a little skeptical about it being 100% virtual, but this course exceeded all my expectations.

It was very well structured, starting off with basic concepts and taking you through to more technical details at a steady pace. Robert was an extremely patient and accommodating instructor. His knowledge and expertise offered an invaluable learning experience.

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to delve deeper into the concepts of Quality Management, regardless of background.
